Accepted payment methods at Tees Geek, when your payment is taken and how the charge appears on your statement.

Accepted methods

PayPal

Draws on your PayPal balance or on a funding source stored in your PayPal account, such as a card or bank account.

Debit or credit card

Processed via PayPal’s guest option: at checkout choose PayPal, then the card option. A PayPal account is not needed. Accepted card types are set by PayPal and may differ by country.

PayPal Pay Later

Offered only when PayPal extends it to you for the purchase in question; if so, it shows up at checkout.

Not accepted

Bank wire, check, money order, cash on delivery, cryptocurrency and gift cards from other retailers. Checkout lists only the methods open to your order.

Currency

All prices and charges use U.S. dollars (USD). If your account is held in another currency, your bank or PayPal performs the conversion.

Payment security

PayPal processes each payment over an encrypted connection. Card and bank details are typed into PayPal’s own form, not into our site, and Tees Geek never sees or stores them.

Charge timing

Payment is captured in full at the moment of ordering, since production starts soon after. A cancellation made within 6 hours, before printing starts, returns the whole amount; conditions are on the Cancellation & Modification Policy page.

Declined payments

Typical causes: a billing address that does not match the card, insufficient funds, an expired card or a fraud screen. Check the details you entered, then ask your card issuer or PayPal. Still declined after that? Email us; we can help find the cause.

Tax and duties

Sales tax, if your order is subject to it, is itemized at checkout before you pay. International recipients pay any import duties and taxes due in their country; the Shipping Policy explains this.

Refunds

Approved refunds are credited to whichever card or PayPal account paid for the order. Processing takes 5–10 business days; the credit can appear on your statement a few days after that. The Return & Refunds Policy defines when a refund applies.

Statement descriptor

On card and bank statements, Tees Geek charges are labeled PAYPAL *TEESGEEK. If you spot a charge you do not recognize, send us its date and amount before contacting your bank; we look it up and answer within one business day.
