What personal information Tees Geek collects, what it is used for, which companies receive it and what you can ask for.

Information we collect

Name, email, shipping address, billing address, phone (optional) and the products bought.
Payment data
Processed by PayPal. Full card numbers are neither sent to nor stored on our server.

Purposes of use

Order data lets us produce, ship and support your order and send updates about it. We also use information to answer messages, prevent fraud, keep the site secure and learn which pages are useful. Marketing emails go only to people who have opted in, and each includes a way to unsubscribe.

Recipients of your data

To make and deliver an order, the print partner and the carrier get the recipient name, delivery address and order contents. Other providers handle payment processing, hosting, email delivery and analytics for us and may use the data only to provide those services. Personal information is never sold for money.

Cookies

Required cookies run the cart and checkout. Analytics and advertising cookies measure which pages are visited, where visitors arrive from and how ads perform. Browser settings let you block or clear cookies; without the required ones, checkout stops working.

Data security and retention

HTTPS on every page. Order records are open only to staff whose tasks require them. Retention lasts while orders, claims, tax filings and other legal duties need the records; after that they are deleted or de-identified.

Your choices

To unsubscribe from marketing or ask a question about your data, email [email protected]. This site is meant for adults and is not aimed at children; we do not knowingly gather children’s data.

Privacy rights in U.S. states

Several U.S. states give their residents legal rights concerning personal information. The rights that apply depend on your state and can include:

  • Access: learn what personal information we hold about you and obtain a copy.
  • Correct: have inaccurate personal information fixed.
  • Delete: have personal information erased, apart from records we must retain by law (tax records, for example).
  • Opt out: refuse targeted advertising, and refuse having your personal information sold or shared. Some state laws classify advertising cookies as sharing or targeted advertising.

Submitting a request. Email [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy request” and describe what you are asking for. To confirm the request is yours, we match details you give (for example, the order email and an order number) with our records. An authorized agent can act for you if you sign a permission. Responses follow the deadline set by your state’s law. Exercising these rights does not change the prices or service you receive.

Appeals. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. We review the appeal and send the result in writing. If you remain dissatisfied, you can contact the attorney general of your state.
